“A generous person will be enriched, and the one who provides water for others will himself be satisfied.”
In honor of his late brother Evan Wood, the Eric Wood Fund serves as a vital resource for chronically ill or injured children and their families in the Buffalo area.
As a child, Evan Wood passed away from complications due to cerebral palsy. This had a profound effect on Eric, who wishes to serve his community by helping to supply care services and support for kids just like Evan with chronic health issues. Eric also strives to improve morale through encouragement, which in combination with care makes a huge positive impact for families dealing with severe health challenges.
The Eric Wood Fund is his way of both honoring Evan and giving back to the Buffalo community that has treated him so well.
Money raised from the Eric Wood Fund goes to the Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, which provides vital services to children and their families through the Family Resource Center, and Child Life and Stone’s Buddies Program. For the families that deal with serious health issues of their children, these services are incredibly important.
Eric loves the Buffalo community with all of his heart, and hopes that you will partner with him in helping the children who need it the most. To donate directly to the Eric Wood Fund, please go to The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation donation page.
